Mary J. Blige the Queen of Hip-Hop R&B’s estranged husband and former manager Martin “Kendu” Isaac’s is seeking $129,319 per month in spousal support. Isaac says that Blige fired him as her manager after she filed for divorce and thus has no income. He says that Blige was the breadwinner during their 12-year marriage and he should basically be allowed to continue the lifestyle he’s grown accustomed to during their marriage. He says that Blige earned between $1.5 million and $5.1 million over the past two years
Reportedly the couple did sign a prenuptial agreement, but Isaacs is claiming it doesn’t count he didn’t have a lawyer look at the document. Isaac states that Mary knows the pre-nup is bogus as she supposedly already cut him 2 checks totaling $85,000. Blige filed for divorce back in July, citing irreconcilable differences.
