Have You Ever Had a Bad Day?

President Joe Biden is getting beat up for being 81 years old. He has become the poster child of AGEISM. Too aged to be President of the United States. Can he power up to do the job for the next four years? He should resign and remove himself from the politics of the day. These are the basic questions all are asking as he moves forward with the presidential democratic nomination. Politicos omit his rich history and wealth of accomplishments but turn on him for a mouth-opening, slow-walking, bad-moment mistake as he compared to giant man Trump. HE HAD A BAD DAY, NOT A BAD LIFE, NOT A BAD RECORD

He had a bad day on the day of the debates with Donald Trump. He looked frail, got lost in his speech, and walked slowly. He lives now under a media microscope, where he is exploited if anything goes wrong. A mishap or a misspoken word all make him unqualified to run for President. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TRUMP LIES AND MISTAKES?

Well, now, how is this to all of the pundits? Did you ever have a bad day? Maybe it was a bad hair day, and you shouldn’t have appeared in public. How about you forgot your lines? Perhaps you didn’t do well on the important test? Maybe you fluffed the job interview because you answered wrong, or perhaps you had a bad headache, including migraines. Maybe you suffered from jet lag for a significant meeting? Because you had a bad day, did you lose your job? If the answer is no, keep reading. Being human is tough at 81 because you might have aches and pains, but your mind might be sharp as a tack.

The NATO Speech

Biden gave a speech on NATO and what it means in 2024 that very few politicians could deliver. I predict that speech will go down in history.

He spoke wisely and sensibly with a forecast that delivers the future. I doubt if the general public understands NATO. What is NATO, and why was it formed?

NATO is a military alliance comprising 32 countries from North America and Europe.[1] The organization was formed in 1949 as a collective defense organization to counter the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The United States has been a member of NATO since 1949.

Its primary purpose today is to promote security and defense cooperation among its members while serving as a forum for consultation and coordination on political and security issues.”

NATO prevents the likes of the dictators of the likes of Hitler and Putin from taking over countries. It started after World War II, intending to prevent another fascist regime.

Biden’s strong suit is foreign policy. On the other hand, Republican candidate Donald Trump admitted he did not know much about NATO. He flatly said he didn’t know or understand but could learn in two minutes—the wrong answer.

As we talk about Biden’s winter years, the press has painted him as an old man who might lose democracy. Modern-day politics is more about marketing than it is policy. Trump does well from his reality show experience with the media. He is a bully. He lies, and the press does not challenge him to lie. They challenge Biden’s walk but not Trump’s maddening irresponsible lies and behavior.  For those who love Joe so much, did they forget Trump’s advice to cure COVID was to take bleach? Did they forget totally about January 6? Did they forget that all of these top staff members have gone to jail? Did they forget about old man Trump and his circus of politics?

At stake for America is a democracy or a dictatorship-type government. Trump’s manifesto can be found in Project 25. It is frightening because it changes the American government and America’s life. Trump is an unscrupulous man. He rapes, he grabs women by the private parts, he is a convicted felon, he lies, he cheats, and he is not of good character to lead the free world. He stepped into the ways of yesteryear, where freedoms were denied and people were oppressed. Those who fought for freedom will not fold into obedience. They will fight. Trump is encouraging violence and bloodbaths with his rhetoric. He was shot at a rally by a 20-year-old white male Republican. A fireman was killed. Two others were wounded. This is no way to attend a political rally. There is no way a politician should be shot while pitching his platform. Words matter. So sorry his life was threatened, but maybe there is a lesson here. Maybe a new look at gun control will unfold.

Biden’s policies are overlooked, and Trump’s lies are applauded. Major corporate media has taken a turn for the worse. The New York Times leads the media crowd in turning on Biden but ignoring Trump. It sounds personal. We watch the pundits, the moderator, the newscasters, and the analysis respond to the happenings and conversations of the day. We swear by the polls that are far too often wrong than right. They listen to the whispers, but where are the people? Those who go to the polls and cast their votes. They differ in realizing threats to our country,

The American Dither…

America is in a dither. Sadly, two old white men are running for the top post in the United States. Where are the younger voices? Where are the upstarts? Where are the gentlemen who once were noble and considered government to be a public service? Where are the young men and women who bear the future? What are they doing?

Biden is being pressured from all sides; even George Clooney, the fundraising movie star, has turned on Biden. Everybody loves Biden but thinks his day has come and gone. All you have to do is ask, compared to what – if Trump is the answer, think again. Keep Biden. He is safe and predictable. He is capable. He is wise and willing and up for the job, moving assured. He slipped because of poor scheduling. He walks slowly because of a foot injury; He works from 7 am to midnight. His hours are too long. These factors can be changed, and his handlers and family should come forward with different agendas on his behalf. You don’t throw old people away; you adjust to changes. People do it every day. Discussion centers to Vice President Kamala Harris. But what is not said is whether Whites will vote for her. What is not said is that America is ready for a woman president. Ask Hillary Clinton. America ponders the next President of the United States.

Joe Biden needs to remain in the White House as President of the United States, and there is much work to be done and completed. We need Biden to be 47.
