As a history student, I have questioned scholars, professors, and lecturers about how Adolf Hitler came into power. How did he do it? I never got a satisfactory answer. I explored answers, like, did other countries realize what was happening? Did the Jews fight back, or were they blindsided?
Hitler said, make “Germany Great Again.” Trump’s slogan is “Make America Great Again.” Hitler referred to World War I. Trump refers to democratic, progressive politics. Hitler said channel that expounds his philosophy and lies through propaganda. Hitler was the propaganda king. Trump follows. Tell a lie long enough, and it will be believed. Hitler destroyed Jewish intellectual thought in the bonfire as books were removed from the library shelves. Today, we see some states banning Black literature in the classroom. This is how you destroy a people and their history and culture. Bertrand Rusell spoke on how fascism starts. He said, “First, they fascinate the fools. Then, they muzzle the intelligent.”
The media has caved into Trumpian politics. Say it long enough, and they will believe it.
Trump and Biden are three years apart in age. Biden, at 81, is better than Trump, at 78. So, if age is an issue for Biden, is it an issue for Trump, too? Trump is not the Olympic candidate. He too is slow, notice how he walks on stage and sits in the golf court. The Trump forces have manipulated the media to make Biden’s age an issue but not Trump’s lies or the Trump conviction, or the Trump rape.
I am not one to swear about the polls because, time and time again, we have seen them get it wrong. Who is polled? Polls can be used as propaganda. Remember the Obama polls. Remember the Harold Washington polls. You cannot poll a hundred people or a thousand and predict the nation’s outcome. Sorry, pollsters, you don’t always get it right.
The New America…
The idea that history might repeat itself should worry and terrify America. The Supreme Court’s ruling signals both the beginning of the end and the dawn of a new America. In the case of Donald J. Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court ruled on Monday, July 1st, providing the President with complete immunity from prosecution for offenses committed while performing official duties. With complete immunity, the President can issue an “official notice” and do what he pleases. He has the power to command death. To kill, he can send in the armed forces. He is unrestricted. He is exempt from the law. He is not subject to it.
For instance, during the election, Trump instructed Vice President Mike Pence to halt the vote tally, even though it was possible to do so. Is that accurate? If Trump wins the presidency in 2025, America may never again experience elections in the traditional sense.

With Trump, we have the opportunity to regress to the old America where freedoms were denied, or people were killed for skin color or religious identity. What will America look like four years from now? Is another civil war brewing? In essence, like Hitler, they purport a culture of hate and blame, political control with absolute power under the rule of the President. Power is centralized rather than distributed through the three levels of government. The plan is in a formal partnership with Hungary’s Danube Institute, a foundation funded by the Hungarian government. Roberts has called modern Hungary “not just a model for conservatives but the model.” So, we see America change. The document says we must restore the American family. It means eliminating any words associated with sexual orientation or gender identity, gender, abortion, reproductive health, or reproductive rights from any government rule, regulation, or law.
With this being said and understood, it is imperative to vote for the candidate of the Democratic Party. When it is said that the vote of 2024 is a vote for democracy, it might better be explained to preserve American life. The targets for the changes and the hate that Trump threatens with a “bloodbath” are Blacks, Jews, and Homosexuals. Let’s not fool ourselves as we understand this moment of history. As we watch and listen to what is happening. Trump is a convicted felon and should not be allowed to run for President of the United States. As a convicted felon, do you know he is unable to vote by law?
Biden’s age is not the problem or issue. Compare Biden’s body to Trump’s body. Who is fitter?
Biden might have stumble one evening of debates, but he has been a great President. Compare Trump to Biden. Really. Trump’s lies went unchecked. His bully tactics were evident. Is this who you want to run the country, in the vein of John Wayne? Do we need to create an “American Hitler” with no control and absolute power?
Let us now face what we are seeing in real time. There is no contest between Biden and Trump. The November 4, 2024, election will be the most important in our lifetime. It is a vote to preserve America.
