The NDIGO GALA 2016 was a blast. A good time was had by all. We were in a new venue – The Logan Center on the campus of The University of Chicago at 60th & Drexel.
It was a beautiful day, slightly windy, that made under the tent a bit chilly. The beautiful people came out, we added a couple of features. The food was delicious. The champagne flowed. Art Norman the perfect Master of Ceremonies. Zemrah, a songbird, was introduced to a new audience and they loved her. Kurt Elling performed a special show, paying tribute to Frank Sinatra and he proved why he is considered America’s top jazz vocalist as he returned to his home ground of Hyde Park.
