First Lady Michelle Obama presented the opening keynote at SXSW Music. She talked about her “Let Girls Learn Initiative”, aimed at boosting education rates amongst adolescent girls around the world. Her speech featured Missy Elliott, Diane Warren, and Sophia Bush, and the panel was moderated by Queen Latifah. She introduced “This Is For My Girls,” a new song written by Warren that featuring Elliott, Janelle Monaé, Kelly Rowland, Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya, Lea Michele, and more. Listen Up!
