Within hours of his inauguration, Trump signed a series of Executive Orders with remarkable speed—his actions appeared to embody the aggressive strategy often associated with corporate takeovers.

Among his proposed policy measures is a strong focus on redefining U.S. citizenship. Trump cited intentions to challenge the 14th Amendment by stating that being born on American soil no longer guarantees birthright citizenship.

This stance has already sparked widespread debate and legal uncertainty.

The President also announced plans to “resolve border challenges” starting in Chicago, where he reportedly aims to return 2,000 migrants to their respective home countries. Critics argue that this approach raises humanitarian concerns as the logistics unfold. Trump’s foreign policy agenda has also drawn sharp reactions.

A notable shift was seen during the inaugural ceremony, where leading tech innovators were prominently seated in spots traditionally reserved for government dignitaries. The symbolic gesture highlighted Trump’s perceived alignment with influential figures in the tech world.

Trump additionally took aim at the media, threatening to eliminate public broadcasting stations, including National Public Radio, and imposing stricter standards for journalism ethics. By raising the issue of broadcast licensing, the President has drawn sharp criticism from advocates of press freedom.

Closing the event, at The Capital One Arena, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stunned many attendees with an inexplicable and controversial gesture widely resembling a salute linked to
Adolf Hitler.

Trump’s rise ushers in a period of significant uncertainty at home and abroad. With policies ranging from immigration crackdowns to bold territorial claims, his administration promises profound—and contentious—shifts to both domestic governance and global diplomacy.

America appears poised on the brink of uncharted political and social terrain.
