Gangsta Trump!

Donald John Trump, former President of the United States, “Number 45“, will go down in history as the most controversial and dangerous President of the United States. He has changed the face of American politics at large and destroyed the Republican Party.

To date, he has 91 indictments against him. He will go to trial for his attempts to destroy America’s democracy as he used the strategy of intimidation. He cheated and tried to steal the election of 2020. He insulted the American people by challenging the voting process with unprecedented maneuvers. He is bold, demanding that he had been cheated at the polls. How about the tweet, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU.”

All of that said, his popularity has increased, and he is the leading Republican candidate for President, and he is the one to beat. There are eight candidates to date. None come close to the poll numbers of Mr. Trump. He leads the pack as of this writing with 62%, and the closest in the group is Ron DeSantis with 16%. Trump is Mr. Republican no matter what.

The Political John Wayne…

Trump will likely be on trial before the 2024 presidential election. The trial of the century will be this one. His strategy appears that each indictment results in improved poll numbers and more funding for his political campaign. That’s the way things are right now. Although absurd and contradictory, it says much about today’s culture. The master of public relations spin is Donald Trump. He has a positive outlook on life and interprets each incident of the Trump tale in a way that makes him the victim and the American people who suffer without him. He’s magical. He demonstrates leadership. No matter what, he is proceeding in a specific direction.

The John Wayne of politics, he is. He walks and talks like a TV gangster. He may have watched The Godfather too frequently. He behaves like a Don. No matter what, we succeed, and to advance, we might need to take a few people with us.

Everybody Loves A Winner!

The American public loves a winner. No matter what, show a happy face and win. Be tough and bold is the message. His image impresses, no matter what he says. If he loses, he wins, according to the Trump protocol. Gangsta Trump is the image of a television master.  His slogan, “Make America Great Again” has given rise to the concept of white supremacy.

He has lived a charmed life with pretty women, high society in New York, and host to the celebs and the rich and famous. He travels in limousines and private planes, and the room pays attention when he enters. He has crafted his image as the ultimate businessman, the elite entrepreneur, and the best deal-maker. His television show, “The Apprentice,” ushered him to another level. It popularized him as one to lend expert advice to budding ideas and want-to-be types. They were standing in line to appear on his show. It was fake; it was staged; it was programmed. But it was enough for Trump deal-maker to take his cue and move into politics, using the same ploys. He has used people around him as props. He has ruined people with his tactics. See former Mayor Rudy Giuliani who once was “America’s Mayor.” Of late, we see the president and his top guns being tried for the same crime. Like the Capone mobsters of yesteryear. But absent from the current Trump picture is his family. Where are his wife, daughter, and sons?

The Trump Phenomenon…

America’s Trump phenomenon raises questions. The founding fathers did not foresee the coming of “The Donald.” There are no rules, no legislation to the sins of Trump. Have we ever seen a President-elect in a jail cell? How will the secret service in jail guard the former President? We need new legislation in case another President attempts to change the voting rules for democracy. A candidate should not be allowed to run if indicted. The Trump saga demands new legislation for political candidacy. If a school teacher or a policeman were so charged with Trump’s sins, they would be dismissed from employment.

Media Magic Equals White House Residency…

The Media could take Trump back to the White House.

The saga of Trump continues. Trump is a good copy. He is setting new rules. For example, why should he appear in the Republican candidate debates this evening? He has a commanding lead. Instead, he will have an exclusive interview on social media. Note the ratings, if you please. He is the master of media manipulation. His tweets and unmatched behavior get free press in all major media. He makes the news. He dominates the news. There are no Trump ads, but there is a section of the news daily on Trump’s run for the White House, the second time around. In the Georgia trial, Trump and his men are charged with 13 counts of violating the state’s racketeering act. This will be breaking news daily; this will be Trump’s second television program and seen internationally. It will be a mockery of our justice system, Trump strips the president’s office from all dignity, and the American public will stay clued to the set and talk about it over coffee and drinks the next day. But what, just what if it was not so covered?

My point is quite simple. The media is making the case for Trump by providing real theater. The pundits will have much to write about, and Trump critiques will dominate the Sunday morning shows.

Biden will not get equal time. But should. The Trump trial will read like a soap opera, and it might be enough to take him back to the White House for a second time.

Stay woke.
