N’DIGO: In your own words, who is Perdure “Coach, The Closer” Carter?
Perdure Carter: He is an absolutely fearless leader who does his best to lead by example every day and have a positive impact on every single person that comes in contact with.
Did you always know you wanted to be involved in real estate?
It pretty much just happened for me. As long as I have been an adult, I have been involved in real estate in some shape of form. It’s the most constant and proven investment on earth.
What are some of your day to day duties as owner and managing broke of your company, Dream Spots Leasing and Sales?
As managing broker of Dream Spots, I have to answer the broker’s questions about real estate daily. I also have the responsibility to pay out commissions and make sure our customer service stays world-class. Customer service is very important to me and our company.
How would you suggest someone with a small budget that is interested in real estate get started?

1) Do business with integrity.
2) Always give people more than what they expect.
3) Always do your best!
What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
People call me “Coach” because I actually use to be a football coach and a physical education teacher for 8 years.
Can you name a book that changed or really impacted your life and give a sentence about why?
The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley. It’s a essential book to read because it teaches you that it’s easier to become a millionaire living a normal lifestyle as opposed to spending money trying to look as if you’re rich.
Best advice to those that are interested in participating in real estate?
Be consistent and patient and you will win.
