The Xavier University Alumni Association of Chicago, Inc. will present The Second Annual Taste-Off to be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 3pm to 7pm at Ven Sherrod Studios located at 1906 1/2  South Halsted in Chicago. Guests will enjoy a festive atmosphere while sampling culinary delights from around the country. Special appearances will be made by Comedian B-Self and Fred Carter, President of the National Alumni Association of Xavier University of Louisiana.

The Xavier University Alumni Association of Chicago, Inc. (XUAAC) was established in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois as an affiliate of the National Alumni Association of Xavier University of Louisiana, a Historically Black University, and operates as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. The Association is comprised of an all volunteer group of alumni members in the Chicago area who share a common goal of meeting the needs of the University and the students it serves from a local perspective.

Interested vendors are encouraged to contact the Alumni Association to receive detailed event information. Individual tickets may be purchased at http://tastexuaac2012.eventbrite.com/ for $50.00 (VIP) or $20.00 (general admission) plus a small processing fee or by contacting the Alumni Association directly.

The Xavier University Alumni Association of Chicago, Inc. works to build a network of alumni and friends in the Chicagoland area including Chicago, Northwest Indiana and Southern Wisconsin, that will serve as a committed partner to the University and provide programs and services that will benefit alumni, current and future students. The Second Annual Taste-Off will allow a greater number of students to benefit from the efforts of the Alumni Association.
