Terisa’s Wedding

My friend, Terisa Griffin married Attorney John Kendall over the Thanksgiving holiday.  She planned her wedding for a year.  It was perfect.

Congressman Bobbie Rush married her at his church. The church was regal with flowers all over.  Bobbie was quite the minister.  The bride and groom surprised each other with their rings.

Teresa comes from a singing family. The Griffin sisters sang and they sang and then they sang some more.  “At Last” was never more beautiful or soulful.

And to top the wedding  Bride,  Griffin,  who was recently on NBC’s “The Voice”, walked her dogs down the aisle in tuxedos. They were the flower girls.  Too too cute.  And Oh no she didn’t!  But Oh yes she really did.

Jerry Butler, the Iceman walked Ms. Griffin down the aisle.  He was debonair as usual and he was proud of his little protégé.

The bride was beaming, as she left absolutely no stone unturned.  It was an event that was Teresa’s wedding.  No she didn’t sing because it was her day that turned into a beautiful night at the Hyatt where she had her reception.  It was flawless.

The planning was perfect.   The execution well done.   The wedding was storybook.

Beautiful and long may they love.  I hope the Wedding Day freezes from the Kendall’s.
