StreetFood Artistry 2012!
A Taste of Food & Culture

9

The girls are at it again! Alicia August-Wright and Patrice Perkins have amped up their love for food and the arts and made this year’s StreetFood Artisty event bigger, more creative and even more TASTE-TASTIC!

Designed to satisfy the cultural taste-buds of creatives from all walks and paths, StreetFood Artistry is a one-stop shop for foodies to unite. Jazzed with tantalizing dishes, add to it  a twist of Chicago’s art scene, SFA aims to embrace a burgeoning attraction and  introduce the best of Chicago’s Food Trucks.

Attendees will be treated to live performances from talents such as the high-energy  TapDance collective M.A.D.D. Rhythms, who also receive a portion of the proceeds to continue on their mission of  preserving, promoting and contributing to the tap artform.

Chicago Street Musicians will also make their appearance at StreetFood Artistry 2012 celebrating Chicago-area street musicians and educating the public about their lives and the importance of supporting street artists.

That covers some of the arts and entertainment… here’s a glimpse of the menu!
