Chicago superstar Jennifer Hudson and the Oakdale Covenant Church’s Children Choir, under the direction of TJ Smith, performed at the DuSable Museum of African American History in honor of Black History Month. Some folks came in late during JHud’s set and she jokingly called them out on it.
Darryll King and Keno Greer of Rejoice 102 introduced the choir. They also held ticket giveaways for audience members who guessed the correct Black history trivia questions. Folks were able to win tickets to the Gospel festival, Katt Williams, TLC and the chance to meet Hudson after the show.
