N’DIGO Addresses Youth Violence with Chicago Teens (video n’cluded)

In December of last year, N’DIGO along with the Anti-Violence  & Community Stabilization Intervention Sub-Committee teamed up to speak with students about preventative measures of youth violence in our schools and communities. During the two sessions, held at Little Black Pearl and the Chicago Urban League, we gained insight as to the various issues youth face on a daily basis.

Not all is fair. These students clearly recognize and understand the issues  but feel trapped in an ongoing cycle with multiple failed solutions. These conversations will remain relevant until these fears, concerns, and injustices are faced, changed, and worked on to provide a better life and living environments for ourselves and the youth.

One of the most important messages that Ms. Hartman highlighted was going straight to those who are living in these under privileged and volatile conditions — the children. And, well, that’s what we did.
