Horseshoe Casino, just 20 minutes from downtown, is celebrating Black History Month with a special gospel buffet brunch featuring five-time Grammy Award winners Blind Boys of Alabama this Sunday, February 19, at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino.
While enjoying gospel sounds, guests will indulge in a spectacular southern-style brunch buffet featuring an omelette station, bourbon glazed roasted chicken, fried catfish, prime rib, bread pudding, bloody marys, and mimosas.
The Blind Boys of Alabama have been featured on 60 Minutes, Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Today Show, CBS Saturday Morning, and more.
Their numerous accomplishments include being Gospel Hall of Fame inductees, winners of four Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, the 2009 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and they have performed for three presidential administrations at the White House.
