Crowns cast at Goodman Theatre, July 21, 2012.

Taking a break from shooting his new film, 2 Guns, screen star Denzel Washington attended Goodman Theatre on Saturday, July 21, to support his wife, Pauletta Washington, who portrays Wanda in Crowns, written and directed by Regina Taylor. Other VIPs in attendance on Saturday evening included Governor Pat Quinn, Commissioner of the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events Michelle T. Boone, White Sox General Manager Kenny Williams and Isreal Idonije of the Chicago Bears.
