N’DIGO held its 2nd Business Shark Breakfast on November 30th with Branding guru Daymond John, also the creator of FUBU and co-star on ABC’s ‘Shark Tank.’  The breakfast, held at the newly refined Salvation Army Kroc Community Center ,catered to growing and aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners looking for professional advancement and financial push regarding their ventures.

N’DIGO‘s publisher, Hermene Hartman gave a candid interview with Daymond John which unfolded paths to leadership, branding and success. Following the interview segment, the next installment of the program went straight, “Shark Tank” style and allowed those whose business proposals were selected by N’DIGO staffers, to pitch their idea to Mr. John along with representatives from Walgreens and Aon Hewitt, who were there to lend their professional advice.

FIVE S.H.A.R.K. Points:

1. Set Goals

2. Homework: Know your business

3. Amore: Love your business and customer

4. Remember that you are the brand. Every brand describes themselves in 3-5 words. Know your brand.

5. Keep doing it and progressing.

Congratulations to the Proposal Presenters:

James Morgan, JVM Underwear; Jennifer Burrell, Frock; Michael Pett, Easy Go!; and Rochelle Graham, Alikay Naturals
