BMOA Sends Hundreds of Chicagoland Students to UniverSoul Circus

UniversoulCircus

Maintaining its commitment to education and community outreach programs, the Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (BMOA) sent 500 students, grades K-8, on a field trip to the UniverSoul Circus in Washington Park on Wednesday morning, September 26. Students from Barnard, Medgar Evers, Melody, Deikman, Alex Haley, Pullman, Woodson South, and Hoover Elementary schools engaged with dancers, acrobats, elephants and tigers as they cheered from the edge of their seats. BMOA Vice President Melvin Buckley was also on hand to greet students as they arrived.

In the sixth year of its UniverSoul Circus sponsorship, the BMOA takes great pride in offering wholesome community events that cater to elementary school students, senior citizen church groups and everyone in between. BMOA Night at the Circus will be held on Thursday, October 4, at 7:30 p.m. The BMOA encourages community support of the UniverSoul Circus, which will be in town through Sunday, October 14. The Circus tour’s next stop will be in Milwaukee.

Students and teachers look on in awe at the UniverSoul Circus acts on a school field trip provided by the BMOA
